Something Missing

I thought I would watch the television
I knew inside something was missing
All the gossip was just the same
As all the madness in my brain

Did you know and did you hear
It came so fast so very near
Did you watch and did you see
The lunatic inside of me

There he is on the telly
Crawling through my underbelly
Deep within my sweet insides
You stroke the darkness which I hide

You are my friend my tormentor
You are inside of me remember
So I tell him to stop being
A cheap visionary
Locked inside my broken telly
